Comfy and cosy cotton socks featuring the iconic Thamesmead logo, part of our range celebrating London's design heritage.
Designed and built by the Greater London Council between 1964 and 1986, Thamesmead is a unique and radical place.
The original Thamesmead emblem, which inspired these socks, touched the ambition and optimism which defined the town’s inception. All funds raised from the sale of these socks are used to support the work of Open City, a charity making architecture and built heritage more open, accessible and equitable.
These socks are skilfully hand finished with a seamless toe using ethically grown and sourced Supima cotton by our partners at Peper Harow in Sussex.
