Comfy and cosy bamboo socks featuring the iconic Borough of Haringey logo, part of our range celebrating London's municipal design heritage.
The London borough of Haringey's star-shaped 1972 logo, designed by John and Sylvia Reid, represented the pioneering history of television transmissions from Alexandra Palace. It is no longer in use, but was among the boldest of the striking new municipal logos created during the 1960s and 70s.
All funds raised from the sale of these socks will be used to create important educational programmes making London more accessible and equitable.

About the logo's designers
Pioneering mid-century designers John and Sylvia Reid met while studying at the Regent Street Polytechnic School of Architecture in London. Their successful and prolific design partnership helped to define our understanding of contemporary furniture, shaping the way we live today.
Best known for their S-Range of furniture, comprising thirteen iconic pieces taking inspiration from the prominent Scandinavian designers of the time, the Reids worked across furniture, lighting, tapestry and municipal design.
